A Congresswoman Calls Attention to Sexual Assaults against Women in The US Military, and US Society in General

This is a shocking story about a significant problem that people in positions of authority in the US military and government have not adequately addressed (taken care of).

At least 33% of women in the US military have reported being sexually attacked by men, and, if this article is correct, about 20% of women in the USA have been raped.  Rape is when a man forces himself, sexually, on a woman.

A Congressperson (or Congressman/Congresswoman) is someone who is elected to make laws in the USA.
