Racist cops arrest a black man and shoot his dog in a Los Angeles area

This story is disgusting to me.  The vocabulary isn't that difficult - here is the article. You can see the video from the ABC - TV article. "Hawthorne" is apparently a suburb (a type of town) right outside of Los Angeles.

A racist is someone who hates another person because of his skin color.  It seems clear to me, from watching the video, that these were racist white cops who were upset because a black man was using his smart phone to record what the police were doing.
